I have been a Unitarian Universalist for 17 years, 4 churches and 6 committees. I have spent 12 of those years working with kids in various religious education classes. Along with teaching Universalist Unitarian values, we learn to be good community members by creating a classroom covenant, practicing right relations, and living our principles with each other.

In our classroom, we prioritize creating a space of joy, optimism and respect where children can play and learn. Our kids learn that we have power together and that we can use our principles and our voices to make the world a better place.
