Our Struggle and Our Power
Rev. Rod Thompson
Unitarian Universalism is such a small association of churches, though we have a rich history of influencing the world around us. Yes, it is a Struggle, and at times it can be both frustrating and depressing; but we also have the Power, when we combine our efforts. Let’s explore that together. By the way, you can thank Lanie Christiansen for this sermon, because she bought it in the auction at CERSI last summer. See you in church!
Rev. Rod Thompson, now a retired Unitarian Universalist minister, living in Warren, Ohio, was our Interim Minister during our Transition year – the year we moved into our present building from our old Collingwood location. Prior to serving us, after serving three UU congregations as a settled minister, Rev. Rod served the Ohio Meadville District as the District Consultant/ Executive for seven years. In addition to us he has served five other congregations as an interim minister.
