Sunday Service

Sunday Service

We’re into peak springtime color, so let’s have a flower ceremony on Sunday! For our 11:00 AM service, bring a bloom with you—flowers from home or ones that are store bought (please don’t pick wildflowers from parkland or private property unless you have permission) and join in this festive time. For our annual flower ceremony, each person brings a flower to church, we place them all in a common vase, and you take a different flower home. It signifies community in a beautiful way. The flower ceremony was begun a little more than 100 years ago by Norbert Capek, a Unitarian minister in Eastern Europe—who spoke at First Unitarian Church of Toledo in 1925. After the ceremony, Rev. Tim’s sermon will be on “Beautiful Growth.”

Join us for a time of meditation, reflection and a great message!
