Start cleaning out your closets, attics, basements and storage units, and set aside your treasures in good condition that you want to share with our church. Drop-off times and sale times along with further information to follow.

The sale will occur Friday, Sept. 5 from 10 am to 4 pm.  and Saturday, Sept. 6 from 10 am to 3 pm.  We will set up during the Labor Day picnic on Sept. 1st and will need all hands-on deck for set up and tear down at the end of the sale on Sept 6th at 3 pm.  During the week, we will need help on Tuesday thru Thursday from 10 am to 4pm to unpack and display items.

This year, we will be trying a 1/2 price and/or $1 per bag sale for the last 2 hours of the sale, Saturday, Sept. 6 from 1pm to 3pm.

If you have any shelving units available for display of items during the sale, please let Marna know.

Tips for donating items to the Rummage Sale
Hopefully this is a good time to go through your closets and drawers and pick out items to
recycle and make money for the church. Here are some guidelines:
For clothing: Select clothing items you haven’t worn in a year or just don’t like. If an item is
stained or ripped, please do not bring it. (Goodwill will take these items and recycles the
fabric.)
When possible please bring collared shirts, slacks, dresses, blouses, and suits on hangers.
This will save the volunteers time and labor. If you need extra hangers, we can provide them.
They can be hung on the coat racks in the hallways beginning after church on August 31st.
See the office manager or Marnaif you have extra hangers or need extra hangers. Please fold
other items like jeans, sweatshirts and t-shirts and bring in box or bag. Items stuffed in bags
are extra work for our volunteers and usually do not sell.
For items other than clothing: Preferably bring only those items that are in good working order.
Please clean or wash the items before bringing them. We do not have enough volunteers to
clean them and items do not sell well if they are stained or dirty. If something is missing a part
like a plug, please attach a note.

Then bring your items to the church beginning after church on Sunday, August 31st or during
the Labor Day picnic on Sept. 1st. We will also accept items Tuesday through Thursday, Sept.
2-4 between 10AM and 4PM. If at all possible, please plan to stay for an hour if you can to
unbox your items and set them out.
PLEASE bring all your items by the end of the day Thursday, September 4th. Items cannot be
accepted during sale days on Friday and Saturday!
Finally enjoy your decluttered home and closets and accept our appreciation for donating to
