If cases are under 50 per 100,000 per day in Lucas County:

If you are SICK – PLEASE stay home! This includes if you have a temperature over 100.4 degrees, unusual cough, or any of the other symptoms on the CDC guidance for COVID-19

(https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html), and of course if you test positive for COVID-19. If you discover you are sick with COVID-19 after having attended a service or meeting, please let the church office or the senior minister know so that we can inform others.

Please get vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, please take your temperature before you come to the church, for whatever reason/day you are coming. If you have a fever, please stay home. If you are not vaccinated and have been exposed to COVID-19, please test before coming. If you test positive whether you are vaccinated or not, please stay home and follow CDC guidelines. Services are still available online.

MASKS are optional if you have been vaccinated/boosted, but are encouraged. Please respect our vulnerable population, and remember that folks may be immunocompromised or not able to be vaccinated. Please continue to wear a mask at services or meetings in the building if you are not vaccinated.

SMALL GROUP ACCESS is available. No size limit except for usual building fire safety limits. Physical distancing is recommended but not required. We recommend that groups meet in Fellowship Hall, if possible, to maintain distance. The kitchen is open, but please be considerate and clean up after use.

SCHEDULING and BUILDING ACCESS – Please schedule with Carol S. in the office. This way we can make sure someone in your group has the building code for key box and alarm access. Also so our security team knows who that is.

SIGN IN – There is a sign in sheet in the main entrance foyer. If you use the alarm code to enter the building, you MUST sign in. Failure to do this may result in revocation of privilege to have the alarm code. Members and visitors who would like to be contacted in the event that we discover someone with COVID-19 has attended a service may sign in so that we know who to contact.

COFFEE HOUR – will be available after the service IF we have kitchen helpers. Please be kind and patient and follow directions which may change as we re-develop our routines. No need to put tables away at this time to make it easier while we still have light attendance.

BATHROOM – The bathrooms have very limited ventilation. Please don’t linger. If you want to continue a conversation, please go back out into the hallway.

If cases are between 50-100 per 100,000 per day in Lucas County:

If you are SICK – PLEASE stay home! If you discover you are sick with COVID-19 after having attended a service or meeting, please let the church office or the senior minister know so that we can inform others.

Please get vaccinated, and if you do, we would appreciate it if you would let us know. If you are not vaccinated, please take your temperature before you come to the church, for whatever reason/day you are coming. If you have a fever, please stay home. If you are not vaccinated and have been exposed to COVID-19, you should be quarantined and not come until 10 days have passed.

MASKS covering mouth and nose must be worn at all times inside the building by adults. For children, follow the CDC guidelines (no masks for the very young, etc.). There are disposable masks available.

SMALL GROUP ACCESS is available. Small groups are 15 or fewer people. Physical distancing is highly recommended. We recommend that groups meet in Fellowship Hall to maintain distance. Beverages and snacks are OK to bring in, but trash should be carried out. Kitchen may be closed – please no making coffee in-house.

SCHEDULING and BUILDING ACCESS – A small group MUST schedule with Carol S. in the office.

If you come to a small group meeting inside the church, please sign yourself in. Members who would like to be contacted in the event that we discover someone with COVID-19 has attended a service may sign in so that we know who to contact.

COFFEE HOUR – will be available after the service IF we have kitchen helpers.  Low contact protocols may be in place at the discretion of the kitchen volunteers.

BATHROOM – One person in the bathroom at a time. Wash your hands. For small groups, rather than one short break where everyone rushes, allow for sequential breaks.

If cases are over 100 per 100,000 per day in Lucas County:

Guidance with additional restrictions will be posted should this condition re-occur.
